Research Core Facilities

Research Cores are shared facilities that have been created at the University of Virginia to make research more efficient, cost effective, and to permit the availability of specialized instruments that individual laboratories cannot purchase or support. Personnel in the cores provide expertise on their instruments and advice on the suitability of them for your research. Core staff may operate the instruments for you or provide training and support for specific user-operated instruments.

For the convenience of our investigators, we have provided a list (links) to the most commonly used core facilities related to research with animal subjects.
