The Protocol Status Update serves multiple functions. This simple form allows you to:
- Indicate that your exempt or expedited protocol will remain active for another year
- Start the continuation review process for a full board protocol (or you can simply make a copy of the protocol to start the process)
- Indicate that the study is completed and close the protocol.
You can access the Protocol Status Update form at any time by using the “close this protocol” link below an approved iProtocol. In addition, you will receive an annual reminder email regarding your protocol with a link to this form.
