The Dean's Research Council (DRC) is tasked with advancing transdisciplinary research collaborations across the University of Virginia. By fostering cross-unit partnerships and strategic initiatives, the DRC supports UVA’s growth as a nationally recognized research university, expanding our sponsored funding and strengthening our reputation. The DRC plays a critical advisory role in overseeing Research Core Facilities, Research Centers, and Institutes, offering guidance and recommendations aligned with the council's mission and goals.
