  1. Create and Submit a Proposal: Basics

This ResearchUVA Powered by Huron (PBH) instructor-led training (ILT) session will feature an overview of funding proposals, including a review of the proposal SmartForms, workflow, and other activities that can be completed on a ResearchUVA PBH proposal.

The session will include a live demonstration on how to create and submit a proposal in the system. Participants will also complete a hands-on proposal development exercise.

This is the first in a series of three “Create and Submit a Proposal” sessions. Proposal budget development and Grants.gov system-to-system submissions will be covered in sessions two and three, respectively.

  1. Create and Submit a Proposal: Budget Development

Wednesday, April 6, 9am – 12pm

This ResearchUVA Powered by Huron (PBH) instructor-led training (ILT) session will feature an overview of proposal budget development, including a review of sponsor budgets, cost share budgets, and subaward budgets.

The session will include a live demonstration on how to create a budget in the system. Participants will also complete a hands-on budget development exercise.

This is the second in a series of three “Create and Submit a Proposal” sessions. Proposal basics and Grants.gov system-to-system submissions are covered in sessions one and three, respectively.

This ResearchUVA Powered by Huron (PBH) instructor-led training (ILT) session will feature an overview of creating a proposal and developing the SF424 in the system.

The session will include a live demonstration of how to submit a proposal system-to-system from ResearchUVA PBH to Grants.gov. Participants will also complete a hands-on SF424 proposal development exercise.

This is the third in a series of three “Create and Submit a Proposal” sessions. Proposal basics and budget development are be covered in sessions one and two, respectively.

  1. Managing Awards and Requesting Award Modifications

This ResearchUVA Powered by Huron (PBH) instructor-led training (ILT) session will feature an overview of awards and award modification (or change) requests such as budget transfers, carryover, or no cost extensions.

The session will include a live demonstration of how to review your award and request award modifications.

This session will include a live demonstration of how to create and submit agreements. Participants will also complete a hands-on agreement submission exercise.
